McCanns
So, that cunt of a detective, who fuelled all the sick trolling bollocks, has been legally proven to be a lying fantasist twat.

Has been ordered to pay all money earned back, shut the fuck up and apologise.

Now , this cunt had an ulterior motive (money). So not quite as sad as loser fuckwits prolonging the misery of a distraught family on account of their downright fucking " wrongness".

How about the weirdos just back off and allow the family to deal with this loss how ever they want?

Which ever way you slice this, the McCanns should have been done for neglect. IMO

It was supposed to be OUR little secret, and here you are blagging about it in public, I knew it was only a matter of time, hence the Werther's were withdrawn. Unlike my cock.

I always got the feeling my parents didn't like me very much. They would leave us and leave a big sign on the door saying 'Door Unlocked. Kids inside. We'll be Back around 11PM, Keys for the Car are hanging in the kitchen'

Re: McCanns
I've never heard of door listening service....if it's just a case of putting their ear to the door of the room then wow ..is that a service..?...anyway would never and have never left my kids unattended in a room and gone out!

Why take your kids on holiday then leave them all fucking day/night? I swear some people have kids just because it's "the done thing"

Re: McCanns
Interestingly enough if you look on the Mark Warner website they offer a free door listening service between 7:30pm and 11pm for kids aged 4 months to 5 years

They also offer free movie nights and kids clubs in the evenings for older children.

I wonder if this has all been introduced post McCanns

Why pay for a listening service when she was unable to make a noise due to lack of breath in her lifeless body.

More money for the fund..

Dammit - I got pulled in again!!!

Re: McCanns
It is worth noting that the company I worked for (Sunsail) is different to Mark Warner and may have had different services on offer.

I know that almost all Mark Warner resorts offer a day kids club service but I don't know what they offer In the evenings.

My point still stands though that parents leaving their kids in bed whilst they go for dinner was a very common occurrence at these sorts of resorts....

Re: McCanns
as i said, just seems odd that they sued the service at the resort you were at but decided that they didnt ant to leave their kids with strangers in portugal. very strange.

Re: McCanns
From 6:30pm there is a night time babysitting service which includes a charge or there is a door listening service which is much cheaper

There was also a free film night service but that was for kids over 5pm.

Re: McCanns
Trevor, the nanny service is a day service (kids club)

ages 2-4 each nanny has 4 kids they look after in the day, parents drop them off at the kids club in the morning at 9am and pick them up at 5pm when the service finishes. Parents can leave them with the nanny all day or pick them up and drop them off as they please

after hearing that mate i find it very odd that they refused to have the nanny or child care services at all in portugal, i believe they said that they didnt feel comfortable leaving their kids with total strangers....

Re: McCanns
I have said this before but I think it is worth noting again.

I worked for a resort in Greece where the McCanns came in 2006 and my roommate was Maddie's nanny for the two weeks they were out there.

The resort I worked in was an enclosed resort much like the one in Spain with Mark Warner however it was not in the middle of the town it was a 15/20 minute walk from the nearest town.

At the resort I worked out many parents would leave their kids either in the nursery or in their rooms when they went down for dinner, often paying a member of staff for a door listening service where they would check on them every 15/20 minutes.

The McCanns were nothing but naïve to the thought that they could do something similar in the middle of a town and not have to worry about local people being able to access the resort.

I worked at the same Greek resort in 2007 and then a Turkish resort in 2008 and parents were still leaving their kids in their rooms and paying for door listening services and I am sure many parents still do it now. When you are in that environment in an enclosed resort you have a false sense of security and you leave your guard down. Unfortunately they will be regretting their decision the rest of their lives
